Valley Industries is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team in Paynesville, MN. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about maintaining accurate financial records and supporting key accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are accurately recorded.
• Support both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Perform general accounting duties and contribute to the overall efficiency of the Accounting Department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
