Prepares and serves beverages to guests in VVIP area in a friendly, courteous and timely manner. Focuses more on creating cocktails, with an emphasis on creating a unique or new drink rather than making classic ones. **Responsibilities:** + Having the ability to create custom cocktails based on client request + Creating a unique version of a traditional cocktail + Using untraditional bar tools to create innovative drinks + Combining ingredients to present new cocktail recipes + Staying knowledgeable about new cocktail trends + Collaborating with other mixologists to learn new techniques + Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests. + Sets up assigned bars; requisitions and stocks all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce. + Maintains stock, prepares, cures and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality. + Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner. + Takes and/or processes orders for drinks; mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes; practices prudent portion control. + Checks guests at the bar for proper identification. + Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained. Demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws. + Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keeps work area clean and organized. + Arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area. + Washes and sterilizes stemware. + Performs other duties as assigned. **Skills and Qualifications:** + At least 1 year of Bartending Experience + Must have an active RBS&Health Card + Proper alcohol handling cards + Knowledge of point-of-sale systems + Ability to adapt and learn new technology/ programs + Service-oriented and willing to help patrons + Customer service skills to maintain positive customer relationships, encourage customer loyalty and resolve conflicts + Excellent communication to interact with team members and customers + Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment + Attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory and transaction records + Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales + Basic PC knowledge + Familiarity with electronic equipment, such as point-of-sales systems + Strong math skills + Excellent communication and time management skills + Customer satisfaction-oriented + Team-oriented + Excellent communication and time management skills + Ability to work all events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays + Must possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or CA alcohol Responsible Beverage Service servers' permit **Apply to Levy today!** _Levy is a member of Compass Group USA_ Click here to Learn More about the Compass Story ( **Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
