Description Economists in CBA work collaboratively with other Scientists and Engineers to build causal models supporting business decision making. We are looking for an individual with expertise in applied econometrics and causal machine learning to help our team design and implement solutions to answer challenging questions such as optimizing Amazon's portfolio of retail products. You will work closely with our business partners to define requirements, propose and review modeling approaches, prototype code and deep dive on analyses to help inform decision making. You will have the opportunity to build scalable models at the forefront of causal ML/AI and dynamic causal methods, and apply these to large scale datasets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
