Job Description

Title: DG BOSS: Plumber (FN) · Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of IAW the Performance Work Statement (PWS) to support warm base operations and exercises. + Performs maintenance and repair works under the direct supervision of a Journeyman Plumber or higher-level craftsman. + Observe and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment. + Performs other work-related duties and activities as directed. Basic Qualifications + Must have an excellent understanding of all safety directives and policies regarding the operation of equipment + Knowledge of plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installation techniques + Knowledge of plumbing codes + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material + Ability to perform mathematical calculations + Ability to diagnose and resolve problems + Ability to use hand and power tools. + Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, bending, standing, climbing, or walking. + Must speak, read, and understand the English Language. + Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health. + Must have a valid Professional Driver's License with at least Restriction Code 2. + Must have basic knowledge of Maximo and Tablet. Preferred Qualifications JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING: + Plumbing certification/s is required. EDUCATION: + Must have at least High School diploma, Vocational or Technical course Graduate is required. EXPERIENCE: + A minimum of three years of experience in the operations, maintenance, and repair of plumbing.
