Description Client is looking for a Civil/Structural Drafter to join our growing and nationally ranked team of Power Delivery professionals. The successful candidate will be a part of a team that provides designer support for large and small scale engineering projects. This is an excellent growth opportunity for a self-directed individual who wants to learn and take on new challenges Primary Responsibilities In the role of Substation Drafter, we'll count on you to: - Create electrical drawings for power delivery projects in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) - Develop entry-level drawings by using computer-aided design software under the direct supervision of other Electrical Technicians or Engineers - Demonstrate knowledge of procedures for production of design developments and construction documents, and a thorough knowledge of engineering planning, drafting and detailing - Perform other duties as needed Required Qualifications - Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience - Strong computer skills Microsoft Office, AutoCAD - Database/Document Management familiarity - An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must Preferred Qualifications - 1+ years experience in designing civil, structural, electrical, etc projects; - Experience with MicroStation a plus Skills Drafting, autocad, Electrical, substation, cad, dimentions, Utilities, Microstation design, Transmission line, Microstation drafter, Designing, Design, dimensioning Top Skills Details Drafting,autocad,Electrical Additional Skills & Qualifications - organized - ability to take a more extensive role with more responsibilities PAY RATE SCALE Years of Experience // Desired Rate 0 $22 5 $30 10 $32 Experience Level Intermediate Lev Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.
