Description QuickVisit Urgent Care - Remote (Iowa) Are you a
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and/or a Licensed Marriage and/or Family Therapist (LMFT) interested in working remotely serving rural communities in Iowa? At QuickVisit, we are seeking a PRN or Part-Time LCSW/LMFT to provide counselling services in conjunction with services provided in our urgent care clinics. Our mission is to help those in underserved communities lead healthier, more fulfilling lives by improving access to trusted, affordable, and personalized urgent, primary, and mental healthcare. We are bringing affordable, accessible care right to patient’s hometowns.
Responsibilities - Conduct individual and family counseling sessions to address patients' mental health concerns, virtually in patients ages 6+.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Collaborate with PMHNP on treatment plans.
- Provide crisis intervention services to patients experiencing acute mental health crises.
- Conduct patient assessments to gather information about their background, symptoms, and treatment history.
- A desire to facilitate client growth through a team approach, working with other care providers.
- A desire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapy.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research in the field of behavioral health and apply evidence-based practices in therapy sessions.
- Follow all state and federal laws surrounding mental health treatment.
- Assess patients virtually for those who have a valid mental health complaint.
- Direct aftercare and discharge planning.
- Maintain appropriate state licensure(s).
- Act in accordance with the policies, procedures, and standards of the Facility including all relevant regulations of RHC and State Regulations.
- Performs a thorough psychiatric evaluation, medical history, and physical examination in compliance with all relevant standards.
- Attend all Behavioral Health?Team meetings and/or other appointments requested by?QuickVisit?to discuss the coordination of patient care across departments and to review patient progress toward stated goals and objectives of treatment.
- Recognizes changes in status of the patient and provides appropriate intervention and documentation. Prioritizes care based on individual patient needs.
- Communicates identified clinic problems following appropriate chain of command (Director of Clinical Operations and Chief Medical Officer), and actively participates in the problem-solving process.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and supports QuickVisit’s mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality statements, corporate compliance plan, customer service standards, and standards of behavior.
- Able to work independently.

Schedule - Expanding availability based on patient volume

Requirements Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited LCSW and/or LMFT program
- Valid state license or ability to obtain
- Must be in good standing with no restrictions to practice in the state
- Mandatory Reporter
- Current Residence in the state of Iowa
