Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant II to join our team. In this role, you will assist the finance department by helping to create accurate and timely financial records. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and compile financial statements.
Review accounting records, financial statements, and other reports to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and workpapers with precision and attention to detail.
Maintain and update financial records and schedules promptly.
Support month-end closing procedures to ensure timely completion.
Assist in creating forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel.
Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Experience & Skills:

At least three years of accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software (General Ledger), Microsoft Excel, and Word.
Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
High level of initiative, self-direction, and commitment to following through on tasks.
Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
